Turn up the heat and tap into your inner temptress. In this playful and empowering workshop, you'll explore the sultry art of sensual energy through the world of burlesque. Learn how to move with intention, tease with confidence, and embody your inner godess. Perfect for beginners and seasoned sirens alike.
What to Expect
Join me for a 1 hour 30-minute workshop filled with laughter, movement, and magnetic sensuality as we explore the art of tease, connection, and confidence through burlesque.
Whether you're a total beginner or have some experience under your (sparkly) belt, this workshop is open to all who want to embrace their sensual energy and feel powerful doing so. Beginner / Intermediate level friendly.
Workshop Highlights
Feel-Good Warm-Up: A burlesque-inspired warm-up to awaken the body and stir up that inner heat.
Sensual Movement routine: Dive into sensuality head first with this enchantress routine, focusing on slow, sultry movement and self-connection.
Stage Presence: Learn how to radiate confidence and own any space you walk into. (Warning: may cause spontaneous bouts of self-love practice.
Group Routine: Put everything together in a deliciously empowering group performance – a moment to shine, sparkle, and glide with pride.

What You Need
Comfortable Dance Clothes: Choose breathable and flexible clothing that allows for easy movement.
Comfortable Heels: Opt for heels that provide support and stability, ensuring you can dance with confidence. Bare feet or socks if you prefer to opt out of heels.
Knee pads ( if preferred ): If you prefer to wear knee pads, bring some along for floorwork. ( Not compulsary )
Water: Stay hydrated, especially in the sizzling heat, to keep your energy levels up.
Snack: If your'e partaking both summer school workshops remember a snack for in between.

Need to Know
PARKING
Free Evening and Weekend Parking is available in the complex. Monday – Friday 7am-5.30pm – We have a limited number of permit passes. Please check beforehand if these will be available for use. Free On Street Parking is available for 4hrs on Mabgate and Cherry Row and there is also reasonably priced on street parking on Macaulay Street and Mabgate, operated via an app called ‘Ring Go’ (no cash payments). Register via the app or call 0203 046 0010. Macaulay Street’s site Ref is 24313
Disabled Parking/Access
Please let us know in advance if you require disabled parking so we can reserve a space in the complex.
Mill 6 (Main Office, Studio 1 & 2) is only accessible via stairs – please call us if you need assistance.
Mill 3 (Studio 3) is located on the ground floor – please inform us if you require a wheelchair ramp.
Cycling to the Studios
Mabgate Mills has a secure bike store where you can lock your bike during your time at the studio. If you would like to use the bike store, please ask at reception upon your arrival and we’ll assist you from there.
Walking to the Studios
Please be aware that access to Mabgate Mills is via the entrance on Macaulay Street. When leaving the complex please exit through the same gate and not on foot via the automatic gates opening onto Mabgate. If you find the gate is locked exiting via the Macaulay entrance in the evening, please press the button on the right hand side of the pedestrian gate to release the door.

BUSES
To DSL: Route 42 – Direction ‘Fearnville’ Stop Number 450 10293 (This bus stop is located across the road from the Mill complex on Lincoln Green Road).
To City Centre: Route 42 – Direction ‘Old Farnley’ Stop Number 450 10292 (This is located a few mins walk along Lincoln Green Road).
TRAINS
If you are travelling into Leeds by train we are located a 20-25 minute walk from the station.
I will be waiting in the studio ten minutes prior to class to welcome everybody in, there is a waiting area in the venue if you arrive earlier.
